There are daily flights from Suvarnabhumi airport (Bangkok) to Trat Airport.

On the website of Bangkok Air you can check schedules and price.

Once you arrive at Trat airport, there are shared minivans available to bring travellers

to their destination on Koh Chang. From the airport to Garden Resort is charged

at 800 THB per person, this includes the ferry. These vans have priority on the ferry and the ferry even waits for them if the flight is delayed to ensure you arrive at your destination the same day. You will be dropped off straight on our doorstep.

There is no need to buy the ticket in advance. Upon arrival at Trat airport,

just go to the (only) info desk to buy the ticket.

Taxi's

At Suvarnabhumi airport and anywhere in Bangkok you will find regular taxi's to take you to the pier of the Koh Chang Ferry. You will have to negotiate a bit, but price should be between 3500 to 4000 THB for the trip. On the pier you can buy ferry tickets for 80 THB per person. Once you arrive on Koh Chang, there are shared taxi's waiting to bring travellers to their destination on the island. From the pier to Kai Bae (where we are located) takes app 25 minutes (16 km) and is charged at about 80 THB per person.

You will be dropped off straight on our doorstep. The trip from Bangkok to the pier takes app 5 hours. The last ferry leaves the mainland at 6:30 pm, so plan your trip with that in mind.

Private transfers

At Suvarnabhumi airport  and at any travel agent in Bangkok you can find many companies that offer private transfers. Prices depend on the type of car (sedan, SUV, minvan etc). A good online company is Glassflower. They offer private transfers all over Thailand at reasonable prices with excellent service.

Shared minivans

At Suvarnabhumi airport  and at any travel agent you can find many companies that offer shared minivans to Koh Chang. Price ranges from 700 THB per person to

1200 THB per person depending on the service offered. Some go from the airport 

to the Koh Chang ferry pier. Others will pick you up at your hotel and bring you to

your destination on Koh Chang.
